The waves nearly washed away what she had sought.  When she opened her hands, a smooth round of coral appeared, shining like a pearl.

“Too exalted is Thy loftiness for the hands of such as are endued with understanding to reach unto Thee, and too profound is Thy fathomless depth for the rivers of men’s minds and perceptions to flow out therefrom.” -The Bab, Selections From the Writings of the Bab, p. 195

“All praise, O my God, be to Thee Who art the Source of all glory and majesty, of greatness and honor, of sovereignty and dominion, of loftiness and grace, of awe and power. Whomsoever Thou willest Thou causest to draw nigh unto the Most Great Ocean, and on whomsoever Thou desirest Thou conferrest the honor of recognizing Thy Most Ancient Name.”

-Baha’u’llah, Baha’i Prayers, p. 120
