In this public bath in Akka that Baha’u’llah frequented from the prison, He met Háji Abu’l-Hasan-i-Ardikáni, the first pilgrim to enter Akka and attain His presence. Although Abdu’l-Hasan was advised to make no sign of recognition, as soon as his eyes fell upon the illustrious person of Baha’u’llah, he was so overcome by emotion that his body shook and he fell to the ground, injuring his head on the stone floor so badly that he had to be carried out.
